Fruit Chile Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 ripe tomatoes
  • 6 peaches
  • 3 green peppers
  • 6 large onions
  • 6 pears
  • one quart white vinegar
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup pickling spice tied in a bag

METHOD

  1. Peel and put through the food chopper to chop coarsely, then add white vinegar, sugar salt and pickling spice.
  2. Boil all together for 2 hours or more.
  3. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
