INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups pitted dried prunes
- 1 1/2 cups dried apricot halves
- 1/2 cup pitted dates
- 3 slices lemon
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 inch cinnamon stick
- dash allspice
METHOD
- In a 2 quart saucepan, combine all ingredients with 2 1/2 cups water.
- Bring to boiling; reduce heat; simmer uncovered 15 minutes.
Serve warm.
