From Hot Off the Griddle #22, December 1993.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup cornflakes
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup glazed cherries (mixed red and green)
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 tsp almond flavouring
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
METHOD
- Cream butter, sugar, egg and flavouring.
- Add cornflakes, nuts, dates, cherries, raisins and coconut.
- Form in balls and bake at 350 F for 12-15 minutes.
Yield: 2 dozen.
