INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup lard
- 1 egg
- 5 Tbsp cold water
- 1 tsp vinegar
METHO
- Combine flour and salt in mixing bowl. Cut room temperature lard into flour until mixture resembles crumbs.
- Beat egg, water and vinegar together to blend. Pour all liquid over flour mixture. Stir with fork until mixture is moistened.
- Divide dough in half and shape each into a ball. Flatten each into a thick circle. Wrap and chill dough 15 minutes for easier rolling.
Yields 2 crusts.
